QUESTIONS RECEIVED

• Question: “As I was going over the contract details I noticed that in section 9 PREVAILING WAGE & COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, we were wondering if were willing to waive this section as we do not work with PREVAILING WAGE & COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS.”
  Response: Please note that the grass cutting contract for Oakwood Cemetery is required to comply with the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act. Unfortunately, this requirement cannot be waived, as we must remain in full compliance with state law.

• Question: “Is there an approved budget range for this property? I want to make sure I structure the price correctly.”
  Response: Under the Township’s bidding process, we do not establish a specific price or budget range. Instead, we provide prospective bidders with full discretion to develop and structure their pricing in accordance with the bid specifications and their own independent considerations.

• Question: “Hello I was wondering if you could let me know the previous bid winner amount. I’m preparing for the upcoming bid and would appreciate the information.”
  Response:The previous bid winner’s amount for the GT 2024-01 Oakwood Cemetery Grass Cutting Contract was $85,250.00.

• Question: “Does the contract only include spring clean up or do we also submit with the bid cost a fall clean up for the end of the season?”
  Response: Clean up would be included for the full length of the contract, covering both spring and fall clean up.

• Question: “The bid form requests that a “COST / CUT & TRIM ” amount be provided. Is this amount for each instance of a cut and trim or for the full year of service? Please advise.” 
  Response:  On page 9 of the bid package, you will need to enter the cost for each instance of a cut and trim in the COST/ CUT & TRIM column. Then, calculate and record the total cost for the full year of service in the adjacent TOTAL COST / YEAR column.

OUTCOME: SIX BIDS WERE RECEIVED.  AWARDED TO KD LANDSCAPE, INC. (PENDING BOARD APPROVAL).
