Our commitment.
Joliet Township is committed to transparency and to providing timely public access to government records in accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.).
Our goal is to ensure that residents, organizations, and members of the public can easily understand how to request records and know what information Joliet Township maintains.

How to Submit a FOIA Request

Requests must also specify whether the records are requested for a commercial purpose and whether the requester is seeking a fee waiver. If any records are to be certified, this must be indicated in the request.
