The Board of Trustees serve as the legislative branch of Joliet Township government. Every Illinois township elects four trustees at-large and a supervisor who together comprise the Townshihp Board. Each member has one vote on all issues brought before the Board.
In their capacity as legislative officers, the Trustees:
Adopt the annual township budget and appropriation ordinance, the general assistance budget and the road district budget.
Responsible for approving all township expenses and auditing bills submitted for payment by the highway commissioner.
An individual with common sense for an important job, Bob is a self-employed attorney in Joliet.
He is a graduate of St. Patrick's Grade School and Joliet Catholic High School; and he received a B.A. degree and a Juris Doctor degree from Lewis University. He also is a part-time Business Law instructor at Joliet Junior College.
Wisniewski is a member of St.
Patrick's Parish, the Knights of Columbus Council No. 4400, Joliet
Moose 300, Northwest Recreation Club, and Treasurer of the Old
Timer's Baseball Association of Will County. Bob is the son of
Rose (Varello) Wisniewski and the late Leo Wizniewski.
Raymond F. Slattery
Ray is a Certified Public Accountant with Slattery, Noonan and Thornton, C.P.A.'s in Joliet.
He is very active in the community as a member of the Joliet Chamber of Commerce, the Joliet Evening Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus Council No. 382, the Irish American Society of County Will, and the Rotary Club of Joliet.
Ray is married to Rita (Pillion) and they have two
daughters and one son. He graduated from St. Raymond's Grade
School, Joliet Catholic High School, and the University of Illinois
at Champaign-Urbana; and he received an M.B.A. from Benedictine
University. Ray served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was
honorably discharged in 1974.
A lifelong Joliet resident, Suzanne "Suzy" Adamic-Albert was appointed Joliet Township Collector in January 2005.
She is a 20-year employee of Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center where she currently serves as manager of the Credit and Collection Call Center.
Adamic-Albert is a graduate of St. Francis Academy and has a B.A. degree from the College of St. Francis and an M.S. degree from the University of St. Francis. Married to Steve, a retired Local 75 Laborer, Suzy volunteers as a mentor to local youth.
She also is a member of Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, Healthcare Financial Managers Association, the National Association of Woman Business Owners and past member of the Joliet Township Senior Committee.
A hardworking, common sense individual, Jeff is married to Barbara (Zoeller) and they have two children.
He was born in Joliet, graduated from St. Raymond's Grade School and Joliet Township High School.
Jeff is employed by the Will County Highway Department and is a member of AFSCME Local 1028 Council 31 and a past member of Teamsters Local 179.
He is a member of St. Raymond's Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 4400. He also volunteers for physically and mentally challenged individuals at Trinity Services, and serves as the co-chair of the Half-Barrel Hassle Charity Softball game.
