Senior Tax Levy Program

 

The Joliet Township Senior Tax Levy Program provides funding for non-profit Senior Citizen Organizations who rely on grants to assist in funding their organization’s programs, services, and activities for Senior Citizens in Joliet Township. 

 

To be eligible for consideration of funding through the Senior Tax Levy Program, the organization must serve senior citizens within Joliet Township and must be a non-profit agency.  Senior Citizen Organizations interested in applying for funding through the Joliet Township Senior Tax Levy Program must complete an application which is available through the Joliet Town Clerk’s Office beginning in late January through the end of March.

 

Information contained in the applications submitted by senior organizations is used by the Joliet Township Board of Trustees as a basis for determining the allocation of funds for this program.

Mission Statement

To be commissioned by the Joliet Township Government Board of Trustees in pursuing contact of all senior citizen organizations within the boundaries of Joliet Township, and to actively facilitate the development and implementation of social programs. The Senior Citizen Tax Levy is for the sole purpose of improving the quality of life for senior citizens.
