At its February 28, 2006 board meeting, Suzanne M. Adamic-Albert, Joliet Township Collector, was appointed as Trustee to complete the expired term of Trustee John H. Allen.
Mrs. Adamic-Albert is the wife of Steve Albert, and daughter of Walter & Barbara Adamic. Her brother, Walt, is a long-time member of the Will County Board representing District 9.
Mrs. Albert is employed as Collections Manager for Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. She holds a Master's Degree in Management from the University of St. Francis and is involved in the mentoring program of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will and Grundy Counties. A search will be made in the community for a new Collector, a position which offers a good opportunity to learn about township government.
